At the Nov 12 meeting the BOD adopted changes that will help our transition from being primarily a local masters club to a regional club with some development for new cyclists. We are taking a SMALL step in this direction by approving creation of a juniors development program for up to 10 juniors.
We will gradually change the club kit (not this year except for the juniors) to de-emphasize our club name on the jersey and provide more space on our kit for our sponsors. The kit change is needed for regional sponsors that may reside in locations other than Mystic.
We will continue to offer benefits to masters as an option (i.e. registration for MCRA for an extra $5), but encourage masters to contribute to the club in the same manner as other members so that non-masters club members do not feel left out. 2008 membership application changes are posted in the Download Forum. Take a look at the meeting minutes by clicking "read more", then contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
